Daughter Of Jairus

Matthew 9:18, Mark 5:23, Luke 8:42, 52-55

• Matthew 9:18 While he was saying these things to them, suddenly a leader of the synagogue came in and knelt before him, saying, “My daughter has just died; but come and lay your hand on her, and she will live.”

• Luke 8:52-55 Everyone was weeping and grieving for her, but [Jesus] said, “Do not cry, for she is not dead but sleeping.” And they laughed at him, knowing that she was dead. But taking her by the hand, he called out, “Child, get up!” Her spirit returned, and she stood up at once, and he directed them to give her something to eat.
